See you in a few months!
Yes, loyal readers, it is time for me to take a little vacation from my duties as the world's most foremost bracketologist. Vitale and I are going to drive cross country and catch a few baseball games -- at least, we're going to drive until I can't stand him any more, so I figure I'll get as far as Pennsylvania.
In the meantime, if you happen to stop by this site over the next few months, do me a favor: Post a comment and tell me what you liked and what you didn't like. We here at BracketBoy.net are all about serving your needs. If you make a good suggestion, we'll adopt it for next season. If you make a bad one, we'll ignore you, of course.
Ohio State might have let me down in the championship game against Florida, but I know this: My loyal readers will always be there for me! Have a good offseason and I'll see you in a few months.
Yours in hoops, always,
BB

10 months, 3 weeks agoBB, who will be this year's Ron Lewis?
I for one cannot wait for the first game where Gus Johnson calls a shot like that!
Gus should replace Jim Nantz as lead Play-by-Play man, Gus can capture the excitement like no other announcer can!

1 year agoHoops are now in full swing. The HALL makes an astounding comeback win and AMERICAN UNIVERSITY delivers a xmas miracle, vanquishing the mighty Terps. Remember it is the 25th anniversary of the AU Eagles upset of Patrick Ewing and the #5 Hoyas. Could be a sign for next weeks AU/GU matchup.

1 year agoNo new posts yet? It's a new year. Seton Hall actually looks good right now. I'd love to see them against a quality team, though. Can't wait for the next post of the year!

1 year, 8 months agoHonestly, NJTank, I don't see a resemblance between Mr. Met an BB... But you can believe what you want.

1 year, 8 months agoI also am proud no matter where my travels take me to sport the blue and orange. And if you and Vitale go south you know what you can leave at Turner Field.... Wrong, leave Vitale he's worse. A little advice don't be so quick to dis the John Thompsons', their a nasty bunch.

1 year, 8 months agoGlad to see the cap has orange and blue and not the logo from the team in the south bronx. (I wonder if it has to do with the orange).
Here are some of the things we hope you accomplish during your travels: 1) Back over Billy, after another meal at Crakerbarrel 2) Drop the following note in Columbus, "Dear Greg, you are the first pick, do not return." 3) Drop a note in Ann Arbor, "Hey Tommy, congrats on another winning season. You definitely made the right choice leaving the Jersey." 4) Drop a gift basket at Arkansas, with a note "Dana, Welcome aboard" 5) Please stop by Bowling Green, and leave a gift basket and a note "Louis, welcome to the big time. We are much more hoops crazy here than at Siena." 6) Please stop in Santa Clara, with a gift basket and a note "Kerry, congratulations, but you are barred from recruiting on the east coast. That would not be fair to your father's legacy. Steal Howland's recruits not the Hall's". 7) Don't stop by Chavez Ravine with your BB shirt on. They will see your oversized head and think you are the other BB. 8) Spend a little time with BG, perhaps after you are married, you could have a little nurf ball. (I can hear Vitale now "He's a bracketbaby, baby. A diaper dandy. An orange bundle of joy."
Enjoy the off-season.
