Announcing The Bracket Boy Challenge Tournament

Take the Bracket Boy Challenge and enter for a chance to win a wide-screen HDTV and bragging rights in the 2008 NCAA basketball tournament. Go to www.bracketboy.net to enter.

Here's how it works: Your picks must be entered and received by 12 noon, EST on Thursday March 20, 2008, before the first round in the NCAA playoffs begin. The Bracket Boy Challenge does not include the 65th play-in game.

A tiebreaker score must also be entered where indicated on the Tournament brackets. This score is a single number representing the combined score of the two teams in the finals.

You may fill in multiple brackets, but only one bracket can be entered in the contest. Your primary bracket is your contest entry.

Scoring: You will earn points for each correct pick. The number of points you earn are calculated by multiplying a team's seed by a geometrically increasing round multiplier, as follows:

  • First Round - 1
  • Second Round - 2
  • Regionals - 4
  • Elite Eight - 8
  • Final Four - 16
  • Championship - 32

The sum of the scores from all 63 games is your final score. The highest score wins the Bracket Boy Challenge.

In the event of a tie: the tiebreaker scores entered will be used to determine the winner. The entry with the score closest to the total score for both teams in the championship will be declared the winner.

And, of a second tie: the winner will be selected at random from all tied contenders.

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. To enter and for full rules, go to www.bracketboy.net. Starts 8:01 PM ET 3/16/08 and ends 12:00 NOON 3/20/08, when all entries must be received.
